MYOFASCIAL RELEASE engages and releases tensions in the musculoskeletal
fascial planes. Virtually every cell in the body is enveloped
and supported by fascia. Fascia can be organized (like a tendon) or disorganized
like the (arachnoid membrane) depending on its function. Fascial adhesions may develop after
trauma or insult and can impinge on the body's mobility. The list of problems
that may arise from immobility is long and pervasive.
