I have developed and published relational database software using MS Access with Visual Basic for Applications. The resulting compiled, stand-alone software is installed from CDROM and is effectively copy protected.

The three most significant applications I have written are Focused Portfolios Electronic Companion, Practice Management Billing and Documentation, and Time and Talents: Time Bank Management Software.

Focused Portfolios Electronic Companion is used for documenting developmental milestones in infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. The Focused Portfolios method was developed by Bev Engel and Gaye Gronlund and is outlined in their book, Focused Portfolios. The book and the software are sold by Redleaf Press.

Practice Management Billing and Documentation is the software I developed for managaing my Physical Therapy practice. It is for sale for $495. It is currently in use by physicians, physical therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and massage therapists. It is a comprehensive insurance billing package combined with the tools for documentation of patient visits. It is HIPPA compliant and meets all the current requirments for HCFA-1500 paper and electronic claims submission.

Time and Talents is comprehensive Time Bank Management Software capable of converting and importing the Time Bank USA Community Weaver data, and/or Time Keeper data with a single click! An Import Specification document is included so users of any other software could convert and import their data into Time and Talents. I have additional experience with Visual Basic, and with php/MySQL for server side scripting and web based database applications for creating and managing dynamic web content, mailing lists, and inventories.
